Hailing from Rockford, Illinois with deep roots in the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia), SHEMON is a genre-blending artist, songwriter, and producer whose sound bridges the grit of ’90s R&B with modern soul.

His musical journey began early, playing drums in church at just three years old before teaching himself how to write and produce by age eleven. Emerging as a staple in the DMV music scene, SHEMON quickly built a reputation as a go-to producer and creative force, managing two major recording studios in Washington, DC, while helping develop the careers of numerous rising artists.

His talents soon led to major industry placements, including work with Wale on “Love Me Nina” and “Set You Free,” both RIAA Gold certified, and No Savage’s breakout “Dirty 38” (10M+ streams). In 2019 he relocated to Atlanta, becoming a sought-after songwriter alongside hitmakers like Drumma Boy and Jazze Pha, with credits spanning Usher, Chris Brown, K. Michelle, Jawan Harris, Tiffany Evans, Dexta Daps, XayCapisce, Layton Greene, and Ne-Yo.
